A Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet generation 992.1 has just been spotted rolling on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Although it has been imported to Vietnam for quite a long time, the number of cars in this convertible version is still very rare, only counted on the fingers.
The 911 Carrera GTS appearing this time attracted attention with its outstanding yellow paint, combined with a contrasting black fabric roof. The owner also decorated with black decal details and equipped with a sports exhaust system, making the car more powerful and creating a unique exciting sound.
Based on the coupe platform, the 911 GTS Cabriolet still retains the typical design of the 9921 generation, the biggest difference being the soft-mounted roof. Porsche has completely redesigned this roof, using an ultra-light magnesium frame to reduce weight and limit the phenomenon of wind blown off the roof when moving at high speeds. The rear window is still made of glass, ensuring good visibility through the rearview mirror.
The roof opening and closing structure works using a hydraulic system, can be completed in about 12 seconds and operate at a speed of less than 50km/h. When lowering the roof, the air diffuser automatically bounces up to reduce the airflow into the cockpit, increasing comfort for the people sitting inside.
Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder Boxer engine, producing 473 horsepower and a maximum torque of 570 Nm, 20 horsepower and 20 Nm higher than the previous generation. The car comes with an 8-speed PDK manual manual or automatic double-clutch transmission option, bringing a typical sporty driving feeling of the German brand.
