Porsche 911 Carrera S do Tech Art unique returns after many years of absence

A Porsche 911 Carrera S with a wide body Tech Art has suddenly reappeared on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City after many years of absence.

This is a 6th generation 911 model, coded 997, with a production period from 2005 to 2012. The number of these cars appearing in Vietnam is not much, making the presence of the 997 Tech Art even more special.

The car impresses with a wide-body bodykit from the famous Tech Art company, bringing a more aggressive and sporty look than the original. The entire exterior is also repainted with unique moss green, creating a unique and unique look on the street.

The Porsche 997 is the successor to the 996, with a series of notable design changes. The once controversial headlights cluster over 996 have been replaced with a classic round table, bringing a familiar image associated with the 911 line through generations.

The Carrera S version uses a 3.8L naturally aspirated engine, producing 385 horsepower and a maximum torque of 420Nm. The car is equipped with a PDK double-clutch transmission, capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, with a maximum speed of 300 km/h. The PASM active suspension system is a standard equipment, significantly improving performance and driving feel.

The 997 generation was first introduced by Porsche in 2004, with the Carrera and Carrera S versions. After that, the company continued to add a series of other variants such as Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Turbo, GT3, GT2 with cabriolet and targa convertible versions. In the 2009 upgrade, this car line was equipped with a new engine with a direct fuel injection system and a PDK gearbox, making the car lighter, faster and more fuel-efficient.
