Honda's new B-segment SUV is based on its Japanese twin, the Vezel . However, the European-spec HR-V is still only available with the front-wheel-drive e:HEV hybrid powertrain.
In terms of appearance, the 2025 Honda HR-V has not changed much since its first launch in 2021. The highlight of this car line is the redesigned grille; the front bumper is also designed to be sportier with refined air intakes. In addition, the Japanese automaker also added 3 new exterior colors including green, blue and gray.
The Advance Style Plus adds a panoramic sunroof, exclusive grille and 18-inch wheels. The 2025 HR-V interior features a digital look with a 7-inch instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen. Honda has redesigned the lower portion of the center console for easier access to the wireless charging pad and improved ergonomics. Other cabin tweaks include upgraded sound-deadening materials.
The 2025 HR-V is also improved with the addition of a multi-angle camera system and traffic jam assist. The 2025 HR-V's hybrid powertrain includes a 1.5 i-VTEC gasoline engine combined with 2 electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack. The gasoline engine combined with the electric motor increases the capacity of the 2025 HR-V to 129 horsepower.
According to plan, Honda HR-V 2025 will be sold in September, price announced closer to launch time.
