The fourth-generation Mazda 3 was launched in late 2018 before going into production and dealers in 2019. Found in both the 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan versions, the car was immediately praised for its beautiful and sporty design. However, the Mazda 3 has been absent from any major Mazda updates since then.
According to Carscoops, Mazda has focused too much on enhancing SUVs to make the once popular Mazda 3 model have a corner and not receive much attention. Although Mazda has not yet made an official announcement, a new upgrade for this model has been found by car enthusiasts.
Instead of a simple upgrade, Digimods Design - an independent digital artist has created the Mazda 3 sedan with a new-generation appearance. With this design, the Mazda 3 model has been changed as a new car line, bringing a more premium look.
The compact sedan front end is inspired by the build-up to the next-generation CX-5 model, expected to launch in late 2025. The new design of the Mazda 3 has a change in sharp LED headlights surrounding the grille, combined with sports car restraint and carved clutch.
The side of the Mazda 3 sedan concept car still retains the same window size and wheelbase as the current model. The door surface and rear fenders are redesigned. Overall, the Mazda 3 sedan concept car has a more modern appearance, but still creates a familiar feeling.
