McLaren Artura supercar just got license plate in Vietnam, attracting attention

Thanh Vũ |

A McLaren Artura has just been officially licensed in Vietnam. This car is receiving great attention from the car enthusiast community.

The car is owned by a businessman in Ho Chi Minh City, who is famous for his rather secretive collection of luxury cars.

The car is red-orange in color, attracting all eyes thanks to its sporty and luxurious design. Artura uses a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine, combined with an electric motor, for a total capacity of up to 671 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. The gasoline engine produces 577 horsepower, while the electric motor contributes an additional 95 horsepower, helping the car accelerate impressively.

The Artura’s 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack allows for up to 19 miles of electric-only driving, offering the perfect combination of performance and fuel economy. The Artura’s battery takes around 2.5 hours to fully charge, and the car weighs just 100 pounds more than the McLaren 570S, thanks to its lightweight design and premium materials.

With 671 horsepower and unique design, McLaren Artura promises to continue to make waves in the car enthusiast community in Vietnam, becoming a new symbol of luxury and technology in the automotive industry.

The McLaren Artura is a plug-in hybrid vehicle, designed and produced by McLaren Automotive from 2022. This is the company's third hybrid model after the P1 and Speedtail, and is also the first model to use a V6 engine.

The name Artura is a combination of "art" and "future", reflecting McLaren's design philosophy when launching this model. Artura is also the first car equipped with MCLA carbon fiber - a new technology that reduces weight and increases stiffness.

In Vietnam, McLaren Artura is priced at 14.69 billion VND, excluding other options and operating costs.
