On September 13, the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police announced that it had fined Mr. N.M.C (born in 1986, residing in Quy Nhon Nam Ward) more than 36 million VND for violating the speed limit 31 times in 6 months. This is the most violation case ever.
From March 2025 to September 3, 2025, the traffic surveillance camera system recorded that Mr. C's car with license plate 77A-168.xx had been speeding 31 times on National Highway 1D, mainly exceeding 5 to under 10 km/h. Notably, there are days when vehicles violate many consecutive times, such as August 13 violating 4 times, August 14 being 3 times.

After each violation, the Traffic Police Department extracts the image and sends a notice to the vehicle owner. However, the driver and the owner did not come to work and were handled according to regulations.
In August 2025, the Traffic Police Department coordinated with the Binh Dinh Ward Police (where Mr. C resides) to verify, prepare a handling file, and prevent the situation from recurring.
Working with the police, Mr. C said that he drove to work every day but did not pay attention to the speed sign, so he accidentally made a mistake. Recently, due to a change of residence, he has not received any notice of violation.
"Because I was subjective and did not proactively look up information on fines, I did not know. If the traffic police officer does not come directly to work, perhaps the number of violations will increase," Mr. C shared and pledged not to repeat the offense.
