On August 5, the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police said that it had sent a notice of violation to the owner of a car with license plate 88A-841.92 for driving at a speed exceeding the permitted speed limit.
Through the traffic surveillance camera system, at 0:15 on July 31, this car was traveling at a speed of 114km/h at the intersection of the old National Highway 19 and the new National Highway 19 (Tuy Phuoc commune), while the maximum speed allowed in this area was only 50km/h.

Just 20 minutes later, the vehicle continued to violate the speed limit while traveling on National Highway 19, through Tay Son commune. According to the Traffic Police Department, this is a particularly serious violation that has never been recorded before, posing a high risk of causing accidents.
Previously, on August 4, the Traffic Police Department also sent a notice of violation to the owner of a car with license plate 77A-231.03 that ran 104km/h through the DT638 intersection and National Highway 19C, while the permitted speed was only 50km/h. Through verification, this vehicle had previously violated the speed limit 5 times.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police, there are still a number of drivers who have a mentality of dealing with it, only strictly complying when there are patrol forces. To prevent this situation, the unit has increased the handling of violations through images, strictly punished violations and stepped up propaganda work.
