On August 12, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that the unit had just discovered and made a record to handle a driver without a driver's license, controlling a vehicle carrying 21 surplus passengers.
Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on August 11, on Ho Chi Minh Road (through Krong Buk Commune), the working group of the Krong Buk Traffic Police Station on duty stopped to check the passenger car driven by Hoang Viet Hung (residing in Nghe An Province). On the vehicle, the authorities discovered a vehicle carrying 67 people, while the number of seats was only 46.
Continuing to check the relevant documents, driver Hoang Viet Hung could not present a driver's license. After that, the working group drew up a record of handling administrative violations and issued a decision to temporarily detain the vehicle according to regulations.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police, for the above violations, the driver was fined 19 million VND for not having a driver's license, and 31.5 million VND for carrying 21 more passengers.
In addition, the authorities fined the vehicle owner 58 million VND for handing over the vehicle to a person without a driver's license; 126 million VND for handing over the vehicle to a driver carrying more people than the prescribed number. The total amount of fines is up to 234.5 million VND.
