After a traffic collision in the Conua Lake area, around the International Construction Site (formerly District 3), the technology taxi driver took the key to the girl's motorbike and left. The incident caused outrage after being spread on social media.
The incident occurred at around 11:30 a.m. on August 8 in the Con turtle lake area, Xuan Hoa ward. According to the posted clip, a technology taxi driver collided with a motorbike driven by Ms. C. (born in 2000), carrying a friend. Ms. C. said the taxi driver hit her friend's foot.
After the collision, the taxi driver got into the car to argue with the two girls, then suddenly took the key to Ms. C.'s motorbike and got on the car and left the scene. Ms. C. said she had to hire a new keyman to continue moving.
"After the incident, I went to the ward police station to report it," said Ms. C.
Xuan Hoa Ward Police are coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police Department to verify and invite related people to the headquarters for questioning.
