On August 5, a series of traffic accidents involving a truck, a technology taxi and three other cars on Rach Chiec bridge (Thu Duc ward) caused a woman to be slightly injured and caused serious traffic congestion.
According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m., a 7-seat technology taxi driver with the license plate of the old Binh Duong province was traveling on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, heading towards the city center.

When going uphill from Rach Chiec Bridge, due to the large number of vehicles in front, the driver had to slow down. Suddenly, a truck with a HCMC license plate, traveling in the same direction behind, crashed into the rear of the taxi.
The strong collision pushed the technology taxi forward, leading to a series of accidents with three other cars. At the scene, the vehicles were damaged and stuck together. The incident caused a woman riding one of the vehicles to suffer minor injuries and had to be hospitalized.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) quickly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and handle the incident.
