On July 7, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An has just signed a document on temporarily suspending the purchase of cars for the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committees of relevant communes and wards.
According to the document, previously, based on the advice and proposals of the Department of Finance, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision No. 1873/QD-UBND dated May 8, 2026 on allocating and assigning additional budget expenditure estimates to support the purchase of cars for agencies and units.
Along with that, the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee also issued Decision No. 1875/QD-UBND dated May 8, 2026 and Decision No. 1986/QD-UBND dated May 14, 2026 on purchasing cars for agencies and units.
To ensure that car purchases are in accordance with regulations, effective, and not wasteful, the People's Committee of Nghe An province requests to temporarily suspend the implementation of procedures and processes for buying cars for the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committees of communes and wards in the above decisions.
The People's Committee of Nghe An province assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant communes and wards to review and assess conformity according to the provisions of law and the current practical situation; summarize, report, and advise the Provincial People's Committee promptly and in accordance with regulations.
Related communes and wards include: Quy Chau, Hoang Mai, Tan Ky, Quynh Phu, Quynh Luu, Nghia Tho, Nghia Dan, Hanh Lam, Son Lam, Kim Bang, Hung Nguyen, Hung Nguyen Nam, Tien Phong, Thong Thu, Que Phong, Tra Le, Tat Mai, Chau Khe, Con Cuong, Mon Son, Dien Chau, Hai Loc, Anh Son, Kim Lien, Quy Hop, Truong Vinh, Vinh Hung, Vinh Phu, Do Luong, Tam Thai, Nhon Mai, Tuong Duong, Tam Quang, Bac Ly, Keng Du, Nam Can, Na Loi, Muong Tip, Na Ngoi, My Ly, Hop Minh and Thanh Vinh.
