Since May 2024, TASCO Mall Commercial Center has invested in a specialized HINO 5M3 fire truck as a proactive tool when fire and explosion situations occur.
TASCO Mall also became the first shopping mall in Vietnam to own its own fire truck, helping to proactively and promptly extinguish fires, minimizing damage to people and property when fires and explosions unfortunately occur, not only within the shopping mall premises but also ready to support neighboring areas.
In early October, a number of fires occurred in Long Bien district, causing major property damage. TASCO Mall's fire prevention and fighting team also participated in promptly extinguishing the fire at the auto garage equipment warehouse at 3-5 Nguyen Van Linh Street, Gia Thuy Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi. Accordingly, immediately after receiving the fire alarm, TASCO Mall's management board mobilized the mall's own fire truck, along with the fire prevention and fighting team to the scene to support the leaders of Long Bien District People's Committee and Hanoi City Police in handling the incident.
TASCO Mall's fire fighting team, consisting of 27 personnel from technical, service, and security departments, quickly deployed 4 fire hoses from 2 fire hydrants, sprayed water, and continuously supplied over 200m3 of fire fighting water.
In addition, the TASCO Mall Fire Prevention and Fighting Team also coordinated with the authorities to move the assets of surrounding stores and factories; provided snacks and drinks for the Long Bien District Fire Prevention and Fighting Police team to perform their duties; and coordinated in dividing lanes and traffic in the area where the incident occurred.
Through practical actions, ensuring the goal of being a safe and friendly destination, TASCO Mall always strives to contribute to preventing fire and explosion accidents, accompanying functional agencies and improving service quality for customers and people in Long Bien district and neighboring areas.
TASCO Mall aims to be not only a shopping and entertainment destination, but also a symbol of safety and dedicated service to the community.
