Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of the Ministry of Public Security said that in the period from 7:30 AM on July 1st to 7:30 AM on July 2nd, 2026, the AI camera system and digital platforms of the Traffic Police Department continue to be effective in detecting, handling violations and receiving feedback from people.
Accordingly, on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway (Km20), the system recorded 9,409 vehicle trips. Through artificial intelligence (AI) analysis, the system automatically warned 37 cases.
After inspection, functional forces determined that there were 5 vehicles violating speed limits, including 1 car and 4 trucks.
At traffic junctions in Hanoi, AI cameras continue to record many violations. Accordingly, the system detected 59 cases of driving motorbikes without helmets, 60 cases of motorbikes running red lights and 1 case of motorbikes going against traffic.
In addition to the surveillance camera system, online interaction channels between people and traffic police forces continue to be effective. In 24 hours, the Facebook page of the Traffic Police Department received 123 reflections, of which 4 cases were transferred for verification.
Zalo channel received 14 feedbacks and transferred 5 cases for verification. VNeTraffic application received 458 feedbacks, transferred for verification and processed 11 cases.
According to the Traffic Police Department, as of July 2, the VNeTraffic application had 8,945,925 registered accounts, an increase of 27,397 accounts compared to the previous day. This figure shows the increasingly active participation of people in monitoring, reflecting violations and accompanying functional forces to build a safe and civilized traffic environment.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that traffic participants strictly comply with speed regulations, do not run red lights, do not go against traffic, drive in the correct lane and always wear standard helmets when driving motorbikes and motorcycles.
At the same time, people are encouraged to proactively reflect violations through the VNeTraffic, Facebook or Zalo applications of the Traffic Police Department to contribute to improving the effectiveness of ensuring traffic order and safety.
According to the Traffic Police Department, each act of complying with traffic laws today will contribute to protecting the safety of themselves, their families and the community.
The Traffic Police Department warns that when receiving traffic violation notices, people should not rush to believe in messages, calls or links of unclear origin. Instead, it is necessary to proactively check information through official channels to avoid becoming victims of fraudsters.
The Traffic Police Department emphasized that violations handled in the form of "cold fines" are all notified in writing by functional agencies or request vehicle owners to come to the Police agency to work in accordance with regulations.
Currently, one of the fastest and most convenient ways to look up remote fines is through the VNeTraffic application. For people who have verified level 2 VNeID accounts and are vehicle owners, the system will automatically send a violation notification on VNeTraffic about 2 hours after the violation is recorded.
