Initial information, at around 9:00 p.m. on April 20, at the opposite section of 289 Khuat Duy Tien (Thanh Xuan District), a container truck with license plate 14H-024.XX pulling a trailer with license plate 15R-045.XX, was moving in the direction from Mai Dich to Khuat Duy Tien when it suddenly caught fire at the front of the truck.
At the time of the fire, the car was located right under the elevated Ring Road 3, with fire and smoke billowing up with loud explosions. The driver of the above car was identified as Mr. V.N.P (born in 1991, residing in Hai Phong).
As soon as the incident was discovered, the driver and passersby tried to put out the fire but failed.
Upon receiving the news, the fire police force quickly arrived at the scene to control the fire, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 and No. 7 - Hanoi Traffic Police Department was also present to direct traffic and regulate traffic.
According to the authorities, the fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being counted. At the scene, the front of the container truck was burned and deformed.
