Rapide S is a rare 4-door coupe model in Vietnam, with an estimated quantity of no more than 5 units after nearly a decade on the market.
According to research, the owner bought the car in early 2016. This is the 2nd generation of Rapide S - a version with many significant upgrades in design and operation compared to the previous generation.
Rapide S debuted at the 2013 New York Exhibition with a new look to strengthen the position of Aston Martin's 4-door coupe line. The front of the car impresses with a large grille, designed seamlessly instead of dividing into 2 floors as before, with 8 outstanding chrome-plated panels.
The front axle integrates a carbon fiber air handling wing with aerodynamics. The body of the car still retains the brand's characteristic curves. At the rear, Aston Martin refined the overall cluster and layout, making the Rapide S more modern and sharp.
The interior continues to maintain a luxurious style with high-end leather seats, many wooden lining details and the arrangement of 4 seats typical of the 4-door coupe line. The suspension system, chassis and center of the vehicle have been refined, with the engine located lower than 19 mm to improve handling capability. The ADS adaptive shock absorber system has 3 modes normal, Sport and track, providing a flexible operating experience.
The Rapide S still uses a V12 engine but is refined to be 80 horsepower more than the first generation, reaching a maximum capacity of 550 horsepower. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 306 km/h.
