Previously, Thai Binh police said that from February 4, 2025 to February 11, 2025, the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police recorded 86 cases of vehicles violating the Road Traffic Law being fined.
Of these, there were 5 vehicles violating the red light violation as follows:

Luc Nam District Police (Bac Giang Province) announced the results of detecting fines through the traffic surveillance camera system from January 27, 2025 to February 9, 2025.
Luc Nam Police said that during this time, the police will impose fines on 65 cases of traffic safety violations, including 8 cases of cars violating red light violations as follows:
29C-121.13, 98A-293.64, 98A-600.02, 98A-554.45, 99A-592.94, 98A-559.77, 12A-027.14, 21A-053.88.
Luc Nam Police said that within 10 days from the date of notification, the violator is required to come to the Luc Nam District Police headquarters for settlement according to regulations. If the violator does not come to resolve the issue, Luc Nam District Police will coordinate with the local authorities where the vehicle owner resides, studies, works or has its headquarters to handle the issue.
Within 20 days, the information of the violation will be posted on the Traffic Police Department's website, updating the warning status to the inspection agency (for vehicles that must be inspected) for handling.
"Currently, in the areas of the 3rd and 4th intersections in Doi Ngo town, Luc Nam district, Bac Giang province, Luc Nam district police have deployed a camera system to monitor traffic," said Luc Nam district police.
The police also noted that from January 1, 2025, the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulate administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points in effect.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers of cars running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level is 4-6 million VND), for motorbike and motorbike drivers running red lights being fined 4-6 million VND (old fine is 800,000 VND to 1 million VND).
In order to effectively implement the newly issued laws, the traffic police forces of localities are actively implementing many synchronous measures, with the motto of focusing on both propaganda and strict handling.
