The image of the first Tesla Cybertruck appearing in Ho Chi Minh City recently attracted attention from the Vietnamese car-loving community.
This is the first Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck model to arrive in Vietnam, imported by an importer. According to information from this importer, the model is the highest-end version called "Cyberbeast", with a selling price abroad starting at 99,990 USD. The car has been pre-ordered by a customer.
The Tesla Cybertruck is an all-electric pickup truck that will begin production in mid-2023, after several delays from its original plan. It was first introduced as a concept vehicle in November 2019, with a controversial design that used stainless steel and an appearance reminiscent of sci-fi vehicles.
Currently, Tesla Cybertruck has 2 AWD (all-wheel drive) versions including 2-motor version and 3-motor version "Cyberbeast".
The 2-motor version uses an induction motor at the front axle and a permanent magnet motor at the rear axle, for a total output of 600 horsepower. Meanwhile, the 3-motor “Cyberbeast” version has an output of up to 845 horsepower, with a more powerful engine system. The RWD (single-motor) version is expected to launch in 2025.
The Cybertruck is currently only available in the North American market. The vehicle has an estimated range of 400 to 550 km per full charge, depending on the version. The Cyberbeast version is considered the optimal choice for those who are passionate about the power and uniqueness of the electric pickup truck from Tesla.
