Lao Cai - After the reflection, the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee issued instructions on resolving debts for printing houses in Bao Yen district.

The People's Committee of Lao Cai province has just issued an official dispatch on checking and handling press information reflecting on the situation of printing and documentation debt of stores in Bao Yen district.

Regarding this, the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Secretary of Bao Yen District Party Committee to direct the District People's Committee to review and resolve the outstanding debts mentioned in the article; other outstanding debts (if any) at agencies and units in the district before June 30, 2025.

Bao Yen District People's Committee directs departments, branches and localities to have solutions to completely resolve debts arising during operations before June 30, 2025; report to the Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published articles "Print shops are confused because many communes and offices owe billions of dong but are about to stop operations" and "Wrestling to handle the case of many units owing billions of dong to printing shops in Lao Cai" reflecting the case of the owners of printing shops in a series of communes and offices in Bao Yen district owing billions of dong in printing and stationery but have not paid for more than ten years.

After the reflection, the district authorities verified and reviewed the debt. Along with that, business owners and these units had a working session to find a solution to resolve outstanding debts.
