On the morning of June 19, the leader of Quang Nam Provincial Police said that the accident occurred on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway, passing through Thang Binh district, Quang Nam.
Accordingly, at 2:00 a.m. the same day, on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway, passing through Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province, a passenger bus with license plate: 15H-098.25 (driver's identity unknown) traveling in the direction of Da Nang City - Quang Ngai (on a passenger bus with more than 10 passengers) suddenly crashed into the rear of a tractor trailer with license plate: 294M00074 (driver's identity unknown) stopping in front.
The strong collision caused 2 people on the bus to die on the spot and 16 people were injured and taken to Quang Nam General Hospital for emergency treatment by local residents and authorities. Of which, 2 people were seriously injured.
After receiving the information, the authorities promptly examined the scene and diverted traffic. The cause of the traffic accident is being further investigated by the Quang Nam Provincial Police.
