On May 22, talking to the Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam - Chairman of Cao Phong District People's Committee said that after receiving the feedback, the locality conducted verification.
According to the leader of Cao Phong district, initially determined, this renovation was made by a group of people arbitrarily, currently the locality has directed the People's Committee of the commune to request people to comply with the law.
Mr. Nguyen Van Trung (people participating in the renovation of the stream area) said that some households buy land near the stream, because they want to beautify and to regulate the water, they have contributed money to renovate, not related to Quy Chan Company.
According to Trung, they will consult the local authorities to implement the stream renovation while ensuring the landscape, irrigation and safety, in accordance with the regulations.
