On the afternoon of January 16, at Can Tho City Oncology Hospital, the signing ceremony of cooperation with Can Tho City General Hospital and Military Hospital 121 took place.
Hospitals implement cooperation on the principles of voluntariness, equality, publicity, transparency, ensuring mutual benefit, joint development and in accordance with the provisions of law.
The signing of cooperation is implemented in the following contents: professional work, support and development work, management and training work. In which, professional work will coordinate inter-specialty consultations, deploy inter-hospital red alerts, effectively use specialized medical equipment of units, remote consultations between 3 hospitals and medical facilities nationwide, international organizations...

At the signing ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of Can Tho City, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee - highly appreciated the proactiveness of the 3 hospitals.
According to Ms. Diep, developing Can Tho for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Resolution of the City Party Congress sets the goal of Can Tho becoming a specialized medical center in the Mekong Delta region, aiming to be a terminal healthcare center for provinces in the region.

Today's signing creates favorable conditions for each hospital to promote its strengths, towards the goal of better care for patients. After the signing ceremony, hospitals need to develop specific programs and plans, with preliminary reviews and lessons learned to make the work more effective," Ms. Diep said.
The Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee also requested the Department of Health to support, monitor, and provide timely guidance to 3 hospitals.
