According to the Report on the results of the implementation of Project 06 for June 2025 of Vietnam Social Insurance, in urban areas alone, there are currently over 86% of beneficiaries receiving social insurance and unemployment benefits through personal accounts.
This figure exceeds 26% compared to the target assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1813/QD-TTg dated October 28, 2021 on approving the Project to develop non-cash payments in Vietnam for the period 2021-2025.
Notably, in the payment period of June 2025, the whole country had more than 81% of the total number of people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts.
Regarding the results of the implementation of connecting and sharing data between the national population database (NSDL) and the national insurance database, up to now, the Vietnam Social Insurance System has authenticated more than 100.2 million citizen information in the database managed by Vietnam Social Insurance with the national population database; of which about 91 million people are participating and receiving social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, accounting for 99.23% of the total number of participants (excluding armed forces and military relatives).
Regarding the implementation of health insurance examination and treatment (HI) using a chip-embedded citizen identification card (CCCD), currently 100% of health insurance examination and treatment facilities have deployed health insurance examination and treatment using a chip-embedded CCCD (meeting the requirements for looking up health insurance card information using a personal identification number/CCCD), with more than 227.5 million searches of health insurance card information using a personal identification number/CCCD successfully, serving health insurance examination procedures.
Regarding the implementation of integrating and providing online public services: the entire social insurance system has processed 1,816,112 records, including: 1,796,564 records of issuing health insurance cards for children under 6 years old; 18,988 records of settling funeral fees and 560 records of settling death benefits.
In addition, the system has received from the National Social Insurance Portal: To confirm and pay the unemployment insurance payment process to 869,330 cases serving the settlement of unemployment benefits for employees; Handling 19,214 transactions of registration and payment of voluntary social insurance; 98,673 cases of registration to pay, issue cards and renew health insurance cards; 433 records of DVC Solving one-time social insurance benefits (belonging to the group applying digital signature pilot authentication integrated in the application on mobile devices to serve the provision of online DVC).
Regarding the coordination in implementing the Electronic Health Book, nationwide, there have been 342,542,922 data submissions from health insurance treatment facilities to the Vietnam Social Insurance System.
Of which, 245,620,060 successful searches of health examination records, referral papers, and re-examination appointment papers have been linked to the National PopulationDL for service integrated into the VNeID application.
In addition, nationwide: 1,375 medical facilities have sent data for driver's health certificates with 6,550,451 data sent; 1,962 medical facilities have sent birth certificate data with 2,441,094 data sent; 806 medical facilities have sent death certificate data with 32,318 data sent.
The synchronous and comprehensive implementation of solutions in Project No. 06 of Vietnam Social Insurance has helped the entire system optimize the use and exploitation of database to effectively contribute to the settlement and payment of regimes and policies to participants in a timely, quick and accurate manner; achieving the ultimate goal of bringing the best benefits and utilities to people and businesses in transactions with social insurance agencies.
