Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that pregnant woman Ka Hien was admitted to the hospital on September 15 with her water breaking. Doctors diagnosed that the patient and fetus had abnormal signs, so they decided to perform a cesarean section.
On September 19, Ms. Ka Hien and her newborn baby girl weighing 2.4 kg were discharged from the hospital and returned home. On September 21, Ms. Ka Hien was admitted to Lam Dong General Hospital for emergency treatment in a state of difficulty breathing, lower limb edema, and difficult-to-measure blood pressure.
The patient then fell into a coma, had abdominal distension, bruising in the lower abdomen, and a vertical incision in the middle of the abdomen that was tense and purple. Afterwards, Lam Dong General Hospital organized a consultation and performed emergency surgery.
After surgery, the patient was monitored in the Intensive Care Unit. At 6 p.m. on September 26, Ms. Ka Hien fell into a deep coma.
According to Lam Dong General Hospital, on September 26, a hospital representative explained Ka Hien’s serious condition to her relatives and completed the procedures for them to take the patient home as desired. On September 26, Ka Hien died.
