Currently, people in the Mekong Delta who want to donate blood voluntarily can go to 2 points: Thot Not Regional Medical Center (December 30, 2025) or Can Tho City Hematology - Blood Transfusion Hospital, receiving in 3 days (December 28, 29 and 31, 2025).
On all days of the week, including holidays and Tet, people can also come to the 1st floor of Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital (Tan An ward, Can Tho city), from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, to donate blood.

According to Dr. Huynh Minh Phu, Director of Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, medical science has made remarkable progress, but blood is still the only thing that cannot be artificially produced. Currently, every week, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion provides support to Can Tho City with 800 units of blood.
Within the framework of the Voluntary Blood Donation Week, Soc Trang General Hospital received more than 370 units of blood, and Hau Giang General Hospital received more than 180 units of blood.
It is known that launching the Early Blood Donation Week is a proactive and practical solution to ensure safe and stable blood supply, ready to respond to medical situations during Tet.

Leaders of the Can Tho City Department of Health called on all officials, civil servants, and employees in the sector to actively participate in voluntary blood donation, thereby spreading a humanistic message, contributing to building the image of a doctor with rich medical ethics and responsibility to the community.
