On June 2, information from the leader of Nghe An General Hospital confirmed that there was a report about the incident of a female nurse being assaulted by her family and the incident is being verified and clarified by the police.
Accordingly, on the evening of May 31, while on duty at the patient reception counter in the Emergency and Nursing Department, Nguyen Thi An (29 years old) was suddenly splashed in the face by a man. After the strong hit, Ms. An was stunned, nauseous, panicked and had to be transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Previously, at around once and for all, patient Tran Van Long (53 years old) was taken to the emergency room. After the doctor examined and instructed her to do the procedure, Ms. An received the documents and asked her family to go to the area to wait according to regulations. However, a companion did not comply, made a loud noise and suddenly rushed to the counter, assaulting the nurse.
The incident only stopped when the hospital security force intervened. After that, Ms. An was determined to have swelling and pain in the left cheek, dizziness, blurred vision and signs of psychological disorder, and had to be hospitalized for monitoring.
Through initial verification, the person who assaulted him was Tran Tuan Anh (32 years old) - the son of patient Long. The police agency has investigated and prepared a file to handle the case.
The incident once again rang the alarm about the situation of medical staff being assaulted while on duty. This is not only a violation of the law, but also causes serious damage to the medical examination and treatment environment, affecting the psychology of the medical team - those who are taking care of public health day and night.
