Currently, most medical facilities basically ensure the need for medicine to serve medical examination and treatment. However, the shortage of medicine for medical examination and treatment is still recorded locally and temporarily at some medical facilities in the city due to interruption while waiting for bidding results.
According to the Da Nang Department of Health, to ensure the supply of materials and goods for medical examination and treatment, medical examination and treatment facilities at district and county levels must sign contracts to transfer test samples with qualified medical examination facilities or transfer patients to ensure that patients enjoy full benefits from health insurance.
For some medical supplies that are still lacking, it is not possible to organize timely procurement bidding. Units have proactively added them to the hospital pharmacy list for convenience and to ensure appropriate prices for patients.
To speed up the progress of procurement and bidding, units have proactively increased human resources to carry out bidding to purchase medical supplies and goods to serve the needs of medical examination and treatment for people in the city and neighboring provinces.
The Department of Health has been coordinating with the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang City to organize training courses on new regulations on bidding for affiliated units. The Department of Health will report difficulties and problems and make recommendations to the Ministry of Health and relevant agencies for resolution.
