Da Nang - On the morning of November 4, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06) and HDBank deployed a smart medical kiosk at Da Nang Hospital.

The operation of the Smart Medical Kiosk system aims to realize Directive No. 12/CT-BYT of the Ministry of Health on promoting the implementation of cashless payment of medical service costs, aiming for 100% cashless payment at hospitals and standardizing the identification and authentication of patient data, according to the policy of Project 06 of the Government.

Through this system, people can register for medical examination and pay hospital fees quickly and easily via CCCD, VssID, VneID (level 2) and facial recognition technology. Information on the chip-embedded CCCD and the patient's face is stored throughout the registration and medical examination process.

This system will shorten the waiting time for patients. At the same time, medical staff can proactively receive information, track patient medical history quickly, easily, and conveniently; gradually improving the quality of medical examination and treatment of the health system.

Dr. Le Duc Nhan - Director of Da Nang Hospital said that the Smart Medical Kiosk system is a pioneering project in implementing the tasks of Decision No. 06/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. This is a project to develop applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 at Da Nang Hospital.

"The Smart Medical Kiosk system was created to help patients proactively authenticate their medical examination registration and information, and make payments at the counter. In recent times, Da Nang Hospital has coordinated with other units to improve the quality of operations, especially shortening the time for patients to see a doctor.

"Not only does it help people proactively seek medical treatment, but the smart medical kiosk also creates conditions for doctors and medical staff to better manage patient information and reduce administrative procedures, improving work efficiency," said the Director of Da Nang Hospital.
