According to the plan, the collection of children's vaccination records must be completed before October 2026; vaccination history checks must be completed before November 2026.
Replenishment vaccination activities will be organized in November - December 2026 and booster vaccination from January - April 2027.
The subjects subject to vaccination history check are all children enrolled in preschool education institutions and 1st grade students in public and non-public primary schools.
Children who are determined to have not been vaccinated or have not been fully vaccinated against measles, measles - rubella (MR), polio (bOPV, IPV), Japanese encephalitis (VNNB) will be listed to organize compensatory vaccination according to regulations.
Dak Lak Department of Health requests the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct health stations to develop plans and submit them to the commune-level People's Committee for approval for implementation in the area. Units are responsible for collecting dossiers, reviewing vaccination history, compiling lists of children in need of supplementary vaccination and organizing vaccination to ensure compliance with regulations, safety, and effectiveness.
At the same time, the Department of Education and Training closely coordinates with the Health sector in organizing inspection, supervision and supporting schools to implement activities according to the plan.
Mr. Nay Phi La - Director of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health said that the education sector is responsible for propagating to students, parents and caregivers about the meaning and benefits of booster vaccination activities at preschool and primary education institutions.
Educational institutions are required to coordinate with the local health sector to review and compile a list of children who have not been fully vaccinated; prepare facilities and human resources to coordinate in organizing vaccination points at schools when necessary, ensuring safety during the vaccination process.
