During the 7 days of Tet, 584 people were examined and treated in emergency rooms due to digestive disorders, food poisoning from homemade food, and alcohol/beer intoxication, of which 369 people had to be hospitalized.

The health work report on January 31, the third day of the Lunar New Year 2025, said that as of the morning of January 31, there were 118,812 patients being treated at medical facilities nationwide.

Within 24 hours, the total number of patients coming for examination and emergency care was 62,520 people. The total number of patients coming for examination and emergency care during the 7 days of Lunar New Year from January 25 to 31, 2025 was 478,069 people.

Meanwhile, the total number of inpatients hospitalized in the past 24 hours was 31,977 people, bringing the total number of hospitalizations in the 7 days from January 25-31, 2025 to 160,423 people.

In just 24 hours from January 30-31, doctors and nurses performed 2,438 surgeries, of which 443 were emergency surgeries. The total number of surgeries in the 7 days from January 25-31, 2025 was 16,713, of which 2,887 were emergency surgeries.

The Ministry of Health also said that in just 24 hours, there were 2,340 successful deliveries and cesarean sections at the hospital, bringing the total number of successful deliveries and cesarean sections in the 7 days from January 25 to 31, 2025 to 14,044.

Regarding the situation of emergency examinations for suspected traffic-related accidents, the Ministry of Health informed that in 24 hours, the total number of examinations and emergency treatment for suspected traffic-related accidents was 3,684 cases. The total number of examinations and emergency treatment for suspected traffic-related accidents during the 7-day Tet holiday from January 25 to 31, 2025 was 20,700 people, of which 8,309 people had to be hospitalized for monitoring and treatment.

Regarding accidents suspected to be caused by firecrackers, weapons, and explosives, the Ministry of Health said that from the morning of the 2nd to the morning of the 3rd day of Tet, there were 33 cases of examination and emergency treatment due to firecrackers and fireworks; 8 cases of examination and emergency treatment due to accidents caused by homemade weapons and explosives.

During the 7-day Tet holiday, from January 25 to 31, 2025, there were 456 cases of examination and emergency treatment due to firecrackers and fireworks; 44 cases of examination and emergency treatment due to accidents caused by homemade weapons and explosives, with no deaths recorded.

According to the Ministry of Health, in the 24 hours from the 2nd to the 3rd day of Tet, there were 99 emergency cases due to digestive disorders, poisoning from homemade food, and alcohol/beer intoxication, of which 73 people had to be hospitalized for monitoring and treatment.

During the 7 days from January 25 to 31, 2025, 584 people were examined and treated for digestive disorders, food poisoning from homemade food, and alcohol/beer intoxication, of which 369 people had to be hospitalized for monitoring and treatment, with no deaths recorded.

According to information from the food safety monitoring system (63/63 provinces/cities, 5 regional institutes nationwide) and the media, as of 12:00 on January 30, no food poisoning cases have been recorded nationwide.
