From July 10 - 12, Hoe Nhai General Hospital in coordination with Hong Ha Ward People's Committee organized a free health check-up and screening program for people to improve the quality of primary health care and early detection of diseases in the community.
People are given general examinations, specialized examinations, tests, X-rays of the heart and lungs, health consultations and updated electronic health records. Through this, many cases are detected early for diseases to be monitored, treated promptly and adjusted lifestyle appropriately.
According to Hoe Nhai General Hospital, on the first day of implementation, the program examined 126 people. On the morning of July 11 alone, 136 more people were health checked. The program continues until the end of July 12 at Hoe Nhai General Hospital (facility 2).
BSCKII Do Ngoc Phan - Deputy Director of Hoe Nhai General Hospital said that the hospital can organize health check-ups for about 200-300 people every day. However, the unit does not set too high a target in terms of quantity but prioritizes the quality of examination, ensuring that each citizen is comprehensively cared for.
To serve the program, the hospital arranges a separate examination area, separate from regular medical examination and treatment activities. Right from the reception stage, all information of people is entered into the electronic system and after completing the examination will be updated into the city's electronic health records. The medical examination program ensures sufficient clinical and paraclinical specialties.

The Deputy Director of Hoe Nhai General Hospital added that through periodic health check-ups, the hospital hopes to raise people's awareness of proactively protecting their health. Periodic check-ups help detect many non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease... to intervene and treat them promptly, contributing to improving the quality of life and life expectancy of people.
According to Hanoi city's plan, the subjects to be health checked are all residents living in Hanoi city who are permanently or temporarily residing for 12 months or more with VNeID confirmation, estimated at about 9.2 million people and divided into 5 groups.
In which, in the initial phase, from July 1, priority examination is given to group 1 (parents, disabled people, poor households, near-poor households, people with meritorious services, people with chronic diseases, difficult areas) with about nearly 1.7 million people; group 5 (freelance workers, traders...) and children under 6 years old with about more than 2 million people.
