On July 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) said that it had coordinated with the Vung Tau Ward Health Station to organize health check-ups, consultations, and health care for members of the Veterans Association in the area.
This is an activity implemented according to the plan of Vung Tau Ward People's Committee on organizing periodic health check-ups and universal screening in 2026; as well as towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026). Through this, about 150 veterans participated in health check-ups.
In the program, veterans are examined by the medical team, initial health checks (tests of blood pressure, weight, blood tests, eye exams...), disease prevention advice, health care guidance and implementation of some other appropriate check-up contents. Thereby contributing to helping veterans raise awareness of proactively monitoring their health status, promptly detecting issues to be noted and having appropriate care measures.
According to the VFFC of Vung Tau Ward, the above activities are of practical significance, promoting the spirit of "drinking water, remembering the source"; and at the same time showing the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in propaganda, mobilization, and accompanying people to well implement policies on caring for, protecting, and improving community health.
In the coming time, the VFF Committee of Vung Tau ward and socio-political organizations will continue to promote the role of connecting, propagating, and mobilizing members and people to actively participate in health care activities, forming a healthy lifestyle, contributing to building Vung Tau ward to become increasingly civilized, modern and comprehensively developed.
