On April 29, news from the Hai Phong City People's Committee said: The Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee issued Decision No. 1283/QD-UBND to conduct an interdisciplinary inspection of food safety in the "Fod Safety Action Month" in 2025; Compliance with legal regulations on food safety of food production and trading establishments in Hai Phong city.
Accordingly, 3 interdisciplinary food safety inspection teams were established, conducting inspections on a regular basis. If necessary, the teams will conduct surprise inspections to promptly detect and handle violations of food safety.
Of these 3 delegations, there are leaders of the Department of Health, the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene in Hai Phong City, the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade, the leader of the Department of Agriculture and the Environment as the head of 3 delegations. Also participating are also representatives of the police and market management.
The inspection content focuses on the implementation of Directive 34/CT-TTg, implementing the "Fod Safety Action Month" in 2025 with the theme: "Ensuring food safety, focusing on the safety of collective kitchen foods, food services and street food".
Food safety inspection in the area takes place from April 28 to May 15. The inspection subjects include interdisciplinary steering committees on food safety of 14 districts, Thuy Nguyen city and a number of interdisciplinary steering committees at communes, wards and townships; Together with food production and trading establishments in the city. The list of establishments inspected as well as food sampling during searching will be decided by the inspection team leader.
