On August 10, according to the Bac Ninh Provincial Electronic Information Portal, the Provincial Department of Health has just issued Official Dispatch No. 4249/SYT-ATTP requesting the Management Board of Industrial Parks of the province, People's Committees of communes, wards and enterprises providing industrial meals and collective kitchens in industrial zones and clusters to strengthen measures to ensure food safety (ATTP), proactively prevent and combat food poisoning, and protect the health of workers and laborers.
The Department of Health requests the Management Board of Industrial Parks of the province to coordinate with the Department of Health to direct businesses to strengthen inspection and supervision of feed processing facilities and industrial feed suppliers; only sign contracts to purchase meals with units that have been granted Certificates of eligibility for food safety according to the provisions of law.
People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for strengthening inspection and supervision of food safety assurance conditions for food production, processing, and business establishments according to management decentralization; strictly handle violations according to the provisions of law.
At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Health and the Sub-Department of Food Safety to inspect and supervise establishments processing meals, providing industrial meals and collective kitchens in the area; mobilize the participation of mass organizations and social organizations in supervising health care, ensuring food safety, and environmental sanitation at collective kitchens.
For units directly under the Department of Health, the Sub-Department of Food Safety is assigned to coordinate with functional units, People's Committees of communes and wards to strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with food safety regulations; focusing on establishments providing industrial meals, collective kitchens, and canteens in industrial zones and clusters.
When detecting violations of food safety, resolutely handle them strictly, and publicize the results of violation handling on the media for timely warning.
