On the morning of April 30, DK1/10 Shipyard informed - at 10:35 p.m. on April 29, the unit received an emergency signal from fishing boat BL93149TS, informing a fisherman of an accident while fishing. At the time of the signal, the fishing boat was traveling from the Southeast, about 25 nautical miles from the rigid house (ated at 07°49'N; 104°01'E).

Ship BL93149TS captained by Mr. Nguyen Quang Canh (born in 1986), from Luu Hoa Thanh Hamlet, Tan Thuan Commune (Dam Doi District, Ca Mau Province), had 4 crew members on board. The boat owner is Mr. Do Van Tron (born in 1976) residing in Ap Tu, Ganh Hao town (Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province).
The victim was Mr. Le Van Muoi (born in 1963) from Quang Thanh commune (Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city), injured in the neck while working on a fishing boat.
The commander of the DK1/10 rig has urgently sent a military team to receive and organize emergency care for the victim. Through inspection, the victim discovered two wounds. The first wound of Y -shaped, 7cm and 4cm size, about 1cm deep. The second wound is 3cm long, located in front of the left neck. Military medical team has taken professional measures such as cleansing wounds, a total of 8 stitches and careful bandages, ensuring initial safety for patients.
At 9:00 p.m. the same day, the victim was conscious, had good contact, and was in stable health. The Military Medical Team provided medicine and instructed to continue monitoring, bringing them to shore for in-depth examination and treatment.
