The Ministry of Health has just responded and provided information on regulations and qualifications requirements for school health workers.
In case the civil servant is a school health worker, holding the title of nurse and receiving salary in the title of nurse, wanting to receive salary in the title of Grade IV nurse, classified as A0 salary, must graduate from a nursing college degree.
In case of wanting to consider transferring the title of doctor, being granted a certificate and practice license within the scope of general practice, a medical college graduation certificate must be issued according to the provisions of Decree No. 96/2023/ND-CP. See more

Tightening procedures for granting export food certificates
The Ministry of Health has just issued Circular 08, regulating documents and procedures for granting certificates for exported foods under the management of the Ministry of Health in cases where there are requirements from imported countries.
Circular 08/2025/TT-BYT does not apply to the issuance of a Certificate of Free circulation (CFS) for foods under the management of the Ministry of Health.
The subjects of Circular 08/2025/TT-BYT are: The policy applies to export shipments ( lots that can include one or more items, one or more product lots) or export food production facilities under the management of the Ministry of Health.
Circular 08/2025/TT-BYT takes effect from March 7, 2025. See more
H hospitalized for using products purchased on TikTok
Dr. Nguyen Trung Nguyen - Director of the Poison Control Center (Bach Mai Hospital) - shared about the critical case due to the use of weight loss drugs purchased on TikTok.
A 21-year-old female patient (Gia Lam, Hanoi) was poisoned by Sibutramine, a substance banned in Vietnam since 2010. After a month of taking weight loss pills of unknown origin, she fell into a coma and had to be taken to the emergency room by her family.

Testing the patient's drug sample showed positive for Sibutramine, an active ingredient that was once used to treat obesity but has been banned in many countries due to the risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease. Sibutramine has a similar genetic structure to Amphetamine, a dangerous substance with a high risk of toxicity - Dr. Nguyen emphasized. See more
Dak Lak revokes a series of medical examination and treatment licenses
On March 8, the Dak Lak Department of Health coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to organize a medical workshop in the Central Highlands, to share experiences in health practice management.
According to statistics from the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health, the whole province currently has 4,823 civil servants and public employees in the health sector, of which ethnic minorities account for 19.16%.
From 2024 to February 2025, the authorities have revoked 131 licenses for medical examination and treatment in the province for many different reasons.

Currently, there are no specific regulations on granting licenses to medical examination and treatment practitioners. There are also no clear regulations for paraclinical methods for those who have completed their training certificates, such as basic and advanced rehabilitation, basic and advanced eye specialties.
