On the evening of April 6, a working delegation of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of the Provincial Traffic Safety Board, the Department of Construction and leaders of Hoa Thang Commune People's Committee, visited and encouraged the victims of the car plunging into the abyss who are being treated at Binh Thuan General Hospital.
Reporting to the delegation, Dr. Le Huynh Phuc - Director of Binh Thuan General Hospital said that the unit had received 11 victims in the incident.
Previously, upon receiving a report about the incident, hospital leaders requested the emergency department to prepare personnel and equipment to be ready to receive emergency care immediately for the victims.
Among the 11 victims taken to the emergency room, 2 victims were in critical condition and 9 victims were slightly injured. The slightly injured victims, after initial emergency treatment, had stable health conditions and were taken to specialized departments for further treatment.
2 seriously injured victims were given emergency care and out of danger. They were then transferred to Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment at 8:30 PM on the same day.
At Binh Thuan General Hospital, leaders of Lam Dong province sent condolences, sharing, and encouragement to the victims to soon stabilize their spirits and feel secure in treatment.
Provincial leaders also requested Binh Thuan General Hospital to mobilize all resources, focus on treatment and best care to ensure the health of the victims, helping them stabilize and recover soon.
Leaders of Lam Dong province have given a support amount of 5 million VND for each deceased victim and 2 million VND for each injured person.
Hoa Thang Commune People's Committee also provided support of 3 million VND for each death and 1 million VND for each injured person.
