On February 7, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health issued an urgent document on strengthening the prevention and control of seasonal influenza. According to the report of the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control (HCDC) and specialized pediatric and infectious hospitals, the city has not yet found any abnormalities in the work of receiving and treating influenza patients.
At present, favorable weather for pathogens through the respiratory tract is spreading. The city's health sector proactively deploys measures to prevent and control influenza, preventing confusion and anxiety. However, people are not subjective and negligent in the face of the disease's developments.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health recommends that local medical facilities advise people to come for examination, treatment, and contact work to strictly wear masks on the premises of medical facilities. Units strictly implement the process of reporting emergency epidemic situations, strengthening the prevention and control of avian influenza transmission to people.
