On January 3, the Lam Dong Department of Health said that to ensure emergency and treatment work during the 4-day New Year holiday, the unit has directed medical facilities to strictly implement the on-duty regime and operate the "red alert" system.
Units publicly list the hotline phone numbers of the industry and each facility. The standing organization units at 4 levels include: Hotline leadership and information processing duty; professional duty; administrative - logistics duty; security - self-defense duty.

Units also develop plans for fire prevention and fighting, disasters, and mass accidents; be ready to provide technical support and professional advice to lower levels when necessary.
The "red alert" system is strictly implemented at hospitals and medical centers to promptly mobilize a team of experts from many departments and rooms to participate in emergency and treatment. Units always maintain a readiness state, proactively connecting support between levels.

The Department of Health assigned: Lam Dong Provincial General Hospital to support the Northern region; Lam Dong II Hospital to support the Southern region; Binh Thuan General Hospital to support units in Binh Thuan province (old); Dak Nong General Hospital to support units in Dak Nong province (old).
Deputy Director of the Department of Health Dang Thuc Anh Vu said that the department requests units to ensure good emergency, examination and treatment work; fully stockpile medicines, blood, intravenous fluids and equipment, especially to serve traffic accident emergency and food poisoning.
All emergency patients must be received and treated promptly, without being refused or delayed. In cases of non- tuyen, non- chuyen khoa, initial emergency must be given, clearly explained to the patient before transferring according to professional regulations.

Units are also required to consolidate out-of-hospital emergency teams, arrange permanent responses; improve emergency resuscitation capacity for accidents and injuries at health stations along national highways and provincial roads.
The Provincial Center for Disease Control strengthens epidemic prevention and control; consolidates mobile teams, ready to support lower levels in handling outbreaks. The Sub-Department of Food Safety and Hygiene strengthens inspection and supervision of food safety, poisoning prevention and propaganda to limit the use of alcohol and beer during Tet holidays.
In the first 2 days of the holiday, medical facilities in the province basically completed well the tasks of medical examination and treatment, health care, and creating peace of mind for people.
