Arrest of the subject who borrowed a car, gold and then mortgaged it

Da Nang - Hoa Minh Ward Police, Lien Chieu District has just prosecuted and temporarily detained Pham Cong Hung (29 years old) for the act of abusing trust to appropriate property.

According to the investigation, on December 18, 2024, Hung borrowed a SH motorbike from Ms. T.T.H with the reason of buying rice, but took it for 17 million VND. On December 21, 2024, Hung lied that the car was at her friend's house when Ms. H asked for it back.

Then, from December 19-21, 2024, Hung borrowed a bracelet, ring and gold necklace from Le Duc H.L and sold it for 70 million VND for personal use.

After receiving the report, Hoa Minh Ward Police coordinated with the Investigation Police Agency of Da Nang City Police to collect evidence and prosecute the case.

Currently, Hoa Minh Ward Police are consolidating the case file and handling the case according to regulations.
