On December 24, Tam Ky City Police, Quang Nam Province announced that they had initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and arrested and detained Huynh Ngoc Loc (born in 1985, residing in Huong Son block, Hoa Huong ward, Tam Ky city).
Previously, the Hoa Huong Ward Police, Tam Ky City received a report from Mr. D. (born in 1943, residing in Huong Tra Dong Hamlet, Hoa Huong Ward) about a burglar breaking into his house and stealing 2 motorbikes including: 1 YAMAHA SIRIUS motorbike and 1 HONDA WAVE motorbike, with a total value of about 26 million VND.
Two hours after receiving the report, after checking the area, Hoa Huong Ward Police discovered that Huynh Ngoc Loc had many suspicious signs and invited him to the headquarters for questioning.
At the ward police station, Loc confessed that while wandering around the area looking for opportunities to steal, he discovered Mr. D's house had 2 motorbikes parked in front of the yard (the house had no gate). He sneaked into Mr. D's house, took the keys to the 2 motorbikes, then stole them and hid them.
While Loc was looking for a place to sell, he was arrested and detained by the ward police.
Through verification, the subject Loc had 4 previous convictions for "Intentionally causing injury" and "Theft of property".
