The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the 2025 land use plan of Thanh Tri district, with a total of 118 projects on an area of 375.99 hectares. These projects focus on developing technical infrastructure, new urban areas, building educational facilities, improving the environment and many other important items to meet the socio-economic development needs of the locality.
In particular, the project to build technical infrastructure for the resettlement area to serve land clearance in Lien Ninh commune with an area of 2.7 hectares and the social housing project at plots CT6B, CT7, CT8 in the new urban area Tay Nam Kim Giang I, Tan Trieu commune, with an area of 1.13 hectares, are the highlights, aiming to meet the housing and resettlement needs of the people.
Transport projects are also focused on investment, including the connecting route from Nguyen Xien - Xa La to Kim Giang with an area of 3 hectares, upgrading Tuu Liet route in Tam Hiep commune (1 hectare), and the project to improve National Highway 1A, Van Dien - Ngoc Hoi section (18.4 hectares). In particular, the Thanh Liet - Tam Hiep - Van Dien town riverside route, 6km long, is expected to reduce traffic pressure for the central area and connect residential areas with the main transport system.
Thanh Tri district has also implemented many projects related to culture, sports and greenery, such as cultural and sports centers and green areas in Vinh Quynh commune (1.6ha), Huu Hoa (1.35ha), and Ngoc Hoi (2.7ha). These projects not only improve living space but also create landscape highlights, promoting the spiritual life of the people.
In the field of education, the district is investing in building new schools such as Huu Hoa Primary School (2nd campus) with an area of 1.9ha, Van Dien Town Secondary School (2nd campus) with an area of 0.8ha, and Multi-level General School in Vinh Quynh and Tam Hiep communes (2ha). These projects will contribute to improving the quality of education and meeting the increasing learning needs of the locality.
The project to build the 220kV Van Dien Transformer Station and connectors on an area of 9.9 hectares, along with the renovation and upgrading of the transmission line capacity from the 110kV Thuong Tin station to Mai Dong - Ha Dong, is also considered very important, aiming to increase the power supply capacity for the area.
Thanh Tri District People's Committee is assigned the responsibility of reviewing and evaluating the feasibility of projects, at the same time publicizing information, closely monitoring the implementation process to ensure feasibility and highest efficiency. Any arising cases need to be promptly reported to Hanoi People's Committee for additional approval, in order to fully meet development needs in 2025.
