The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the 2025 land use plan of Thach That district, with a total of 183 projects on an area of 918.7 hectares. This plan aims to meet the socio-economic development needs of the district, while enhancing synchronous infrastructure and improving the living environment for people.
In the list, prominent transportation projects include the construction of the North-South economic development axis road through Thach That district (phase 1) with an area of 23.52 hectares, the renovation and upgrading of provincial road 420 (23 hectares) and the construction of a connecting road from Thang Long Avenue to Hoa Lac High-Tech Park (12.89 hectares). These routes are expected to effectively connect residential clusters and industrial parks, creating momentum for sustainable economic development for the district.
Projects in the education sector are also focused on, with works such as Minh Ha Primary School (1.39 ha), Canh Nau Kindergarten (1.5 ha), and Chang Son Secondary School (0.75 ha). These projects not only improve the quality of education but also meet the increasing learning needs of local residents.
Thach That district also focuses on improving living space and public facilities with projects such as the Lai Thuong commune cultural center (0.55 ha), pond renovation in Dong Truc commune (4.44 ha), and upgrading the Binh Phu drainage system (8.82 ha). These projects not only solve environmental problems but also create landscape highlights, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people.
Notably, the Thang Long Highway project, the section connecting National Highway 21 to Hanoi - Hoa Binh Expressway with an area of 105.8 hectares, is considered the largest transport infrastructure project in the plan. This route will create a strategic traffic axis, enhancing the connection between Hanoi and the Northwestern provinces.
Other key projects such as the cultural center and sports field of Ha Bang commune (1.2 ha), the headquarters of the Military Command of Kim Quan commune (0.17 ha) and the people's cemetery of Lai Thuong commune (3.07 ha) also play an important role in completing the infrastructure, serving the people and ensuring national security and defense.
The People's Committee of Thach That district is assigned the responsibility of reviewing and evaluating the feasibility of projects, organizing information disclosure and closely monitoring the implementation process. At the same time, the district needs to promptly report to the Hanoi People's Committee to approve additional projects to ensure feasibility and highest efficiency in implementing the 2025 land use plan.
