On October 30, Mr. Van Duc Loi - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Quang Tri province said that there are currently 2 social housing projects under construction in the province, including Bao Ninh 1 and Bao Ninh 2. Up to now, both projects have completed the foundation and started construction of the floors.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at the site of the two projects, construction units are erecting pillars, closing the phage trunk and preparing to pour concrete on the first floor.
The contractor's representative said that the progress was guaranteed according to plan, however, prolonged rain affected the mobilization of labor and outdoor construction. The units are taking advantage of the sunny days to speed up the completion of the project body.
Mr. Van Duc Loi said that during the implementation process, the Department of Construction regularly inspects and urges investors to ensure the progress and quality of the project.
Some other social housing projects in the area have also been approved in principle and selected investors, but there are still problems with site clearance.
According to the plan, the Bao Ninh 1 Social Housing project with 432 apartments is expected to be completed in September 2026, and the Bao Ninh 2 project with 568 apartments is expected to be completed in November 2026.
These are 2 key projects of Quang Tri province to meet the housing needs of low-income people, workers, civil servants and laborers in the area.
