Recently, the Social Housing Project in Uy No Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi (now Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City) has been receiving applications for social housing purchase and rental, attracting a large number of people to submit applications.
According to the reporter's records, at around 5am on October 28, many people were present very early, some even came from the previous evening to line up in the hope of submitting their documents early.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang (residing in Hanoi) said he had come two days ago but because the number of petitioners was too large, he could not submit.
"Last night I arrived at 1am to reserve my place to submit my application early. The current demand for social housing is very high, while the supply is small, so submitting documents is very competitive. However, this is a good opportunity to own a house in the capital, so I still try - Mr. Thang shared.
Nguyen Mai Anh (25 years old, living in Hanoi) said that because she is an office worker, she had to take a leave of absence today to submit an application to buy social housing. She was present at the application submitting point from 9pm the night before and stayed all night waiting for her turn.
For young people like me, buying social housing is a great opportunity because currently the apartment price is very high, it is difficult to turn around 5-7 billion VND to buy a house. Therefore, buying social housing helps me have the opportunity to reach my dream of settling down" - Mai Anh said.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung (residing in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi) said she had been at the application submission point since 6am the previous morning, but because the number of submitters was too large and the investor limited the number of applications received per day, she could not submit. Therefore, at 9pm last night, she continued to be present early in the hope that she would be able to submit her application today.



It is known that the project is invested by the Ministry of National Defense's 319 Corporation, built in Dong Anh commune, Hanoi. The project has a total land use area of about 85,747m2, of which 15,286m2 is for social housing construction. The investment form is direct investment using non-budgetary capital.
The total number of apartments is 466, including 419 social housing apartments for sale and 47 apartments for rent, with the area of apartments ranging from 40m2 to 76.6m2.

The time to receive purchasing and leasing registration documents starts from October 21, 2025 to November 25, 2025 (excluding Sunday), in the morning from 9:00 to 11:00 and in the afternoon from 14:30 to 16:00. The project is expected to start signing an apartment sale and purchase contract from December 24, 2025 and hand over the apartment in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The average selling price of social housing proposed by the investor is VND 20,617,583/m2; the equivalent price of each social housing unit here ranges from VND 824 million to more than VND 1.57 billion/unit. Maintenance cost 392,716 VND/m2; average rental price 288,527 VND/m2/month.
