Hai Phong - May 12, Gia Vien Ward People's Committee coordinated to organize a lottery to determine the location of new re-leased apartments for households to relocate from old apartment buildings.

Gia Vien Ward People's Committee coordinated with One-Member Limited Liability Company for Housing Management and Trading to organize a lucky draw conference to determine the location of new re-leased apartments for households to relocate from dangerous old apartment buildings in the area. According to the list approved by the City People's Committee, this time there are 31 households eligible to participate in the lucky draw to determine the location of newly leased apartments. At the conference, 30 households directly participated in the lucky draw; the remaining 1 household did not participate in the lucky draw for newly leased apartments because they agreed with the plan to receive apartments for re-lease in the temporary residence area.

Households participating in this draw are arranged in modern apartment buildings including HH1-HH2, HH3-HH4 Dong Quoc Binh and 7 apartment buildings belonging to the city's public assets (Cat Bi, Kenh Duong, Vinh Niem, D2 Dong Quoc Binh, Khuc Thua Du, N1-N2 Le Loi and U19 Lam Son).

Among the 30 households participating in the draw, 15 households qualified to be arranged into apartments at HH1-HH2 and HH3-HH4 Dong Quoc Binh apartment buildings (including 7 group B households and 8 group C households) with apartment areas ranging from 47.21 m2 to 49.13 m2. The remaining 15 households were arranged to draw lots for 7 other apartment buildings in the city (including 1 group A household, 5 group C households and 9 group D households).

The lottery conference took place under the witness of functional agencies and representatives of households, ensuring proper procedures, publicity, transparency and objectivity. The organization of the lottery to determine housing locations aims to help households soon stabilize their lives in new, more spacious and safe places; and at the same time contribute to accelerating the progress of renovation and urban embellishment for old and degraded apartment buildings in the city.
