Hong An Ward People's Committee approved the compensation and support plan for 82 households whose land was recovered to implement the Project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park (phase 2) (phases 23, 24, 25), with a total amount of more than 73 billion VND.
At the disbursement session, representatives of local authorities and functional agencies carried out public and transparent disbursement procedures in accordance with the law. The disbursement of phases 23, 24, 25 aims to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of households whose land is recovered according to current regimes and policies; ensure the handover of clean land to implement the Project of investing in construction and business management of infrastructure of Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park (phase 2) in the ward. At the same time, raise awareness and responsibility of organizations, households, and individuals in complying with the law on land, compensation, support, and resettlement when the State recovers land.
The Nomura - Hai Phong Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project (phase 2) has an area of 197.16 ha, with a total investment capital of up to 2,782.72 billion VND. This is one of the largest investment projects in Hai Phong, playing an important role in attracting investment, developing industrial infrastructure, promoting economic development and creating jobs for local workers.
The majority of households present agreed with the compensation plan and actively coordinated with the local authorities. Ensuring the progress of site clearance not only contributes to completing the infrastructure of the industrial park but also promotes sustainable socio-economic development in Hong An ward in particular and Hai Phong city in general.
