On December 17, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that it will continue to auction the right to use an additional land plot at the end of 2024, scheduled to be held on the afternoon of December 27.
This will be the last land lot to be auctioned in 2024. Some other land lots that were scheduled to be auctioned in 2024, but have not been implemented, will continue to be implemented in the first quarter of 2025.
The land is the auctioned asset with an area of 40,439.1m2 (more than 4ha) located in Ward 11, Vung Tau City, planned as land for construction of public works (medical land). The form of land lease is one-time payment, the usage period is 50 years.
The starting price for the auction is over VND399.87 billion; the deposit to participate in the auction is VND79.97 billion and must be made before the afternoon of December 26. Individuals/organizations participating in the auction will bid upward, voting directly at the auction with a minimum of 2 auction rounds, the applied price step is VND5 billion after each auction round.
According to the approved 1/500 planning, the land is the auctioned asset to build a general hospital project with a scale of 400 beds, a maximum height of 10 floors and a construction density of 40%. Including many items divided into specialized blocks such as: hospital block, medical service block, technical infrastructure area, parking lot, park trees and traffic roads...
The total investment capital of the project after winning the auction is estimated at more than 892.46 billion VND (excluding land rent paid to the State as prescribed).
Previously, the province successfully auctioned a 17,787.6 square meter plot of land in Phu My Ward, Phu My Town on December 12, earning VND110.32 billion for the local budget. The winning bidder is expected to invest more than VND600 billion to build a 250-bed general hospital; it will be operational after about 30 months of completing procedures and implementing construction investment.
