On April 1, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Lieu province announced that it would invite consulting units to submit capacity documents and assessments to prepare tasks outlines, estimate costs for land inventories and map the current land use status in 2024 at the provincial level.

The expected implementation period is not more than 30 days (from the date of signing the contract to completing the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for project approval).
The content of land inventory and map making of the current status of provincial land use is implemented according to the provisions of Circular No. 08/2024/TTBTNMT dated January 24, 2025 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
During the implementation process, the consulting unit needs to closely coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Lieu province until the task and cost estimate are approved by the competent authority.
Previously, on March 28, the Department of Agriculture and Environment also issued a notice inviting consulting units to participate in submitting capacity documents and quotations to prepare tasks outlines, estimate costs for conducting surveys, and establish a project to build additional price lists for land types in Bac Lieu province for the period 2020-2024.
Bac Lieu currently has 184 unnamed roads and no land price list since April 2024. Many real estate projects have completed infrastructure but do not have a land price list, so businesses do not transfer land use rights from businesses to individuals because there is no price to calculate taxes.
Mr. Le Chi Ton - Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial Business Association and also the owner of the Hoa Binh Residential Area project, Bac Lieu - said that the business has been waiting for more than a year but still does not have a land price list in the project, causing the business to face difficulties.
It is known that the construction of street names and land price lists was previously built by units under Bac Lieu province, without hiring consultants.
