Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Dao Quang Khai has just signed and issued document No. 179/UBND-XDCB to the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to collect opinions on the appraisal of the investment approval dossier of the New Urban Area Construction Investment Project in Dinh Bang Ward, Tu Son City, Bac Ninh Province.
Accordingly, this project has a land use scale of about 53.44 hectares, a population of about 13,848 people with a total investment of more than 13,156 billion VND.
The project's goal is to create a civilized and modern new urban area in the southwest of Tu Son city, ensuring synchronous development of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, beautiful landscape architecture and an attractive investment environment in a sustainable trend.
Bac Ninh is one of the industrial capitals in the North, concentrating a series of FDI giants in the fields of technology equipment manufacturing, electronics, and semiconductors.
In recent years, Bac Ninh has also become the destination of a series of large investors in the real estate sector.
Currently, Bac Ninh province is also calling for investment in a series of urban areas in Bac Ninh city, Tu Son, Tien Du district with a total estimated capital of more than 105,000 billion VND.
In September 2024, Phu My Hung's member company was also approved by Bac Ninh province to invest in an urban area of VND27,000 billion in Thuan Thanh town.
Transport infrastructure in Bac Ninh is changing strongly. Gia Binh airport in Xuan Lai commune and Gia Binh town, Gia Binh district, Bac Ninh province has just started construction at the end of last year.
This project is being consulted by the Ministry of Transport with ministries and branches to add to the planning of the domestic international airport network.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh airport with the center of the capital.
