The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just sent an official dispatch to the People's Committee of Bac Giang province on agreeing to add a public passenger transport route by short-distance bus between Bac Ninh city and Bac Giang city.
The document stated that in order to facilitate the travel needs of the people, contributing to the socio-economic development of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces, and at the same time, there is a basis to agree to add more public passenger transport routes by bus from Bac Ninh city to Bac Giang city to the List of inter-provincial and adjacent bus routes in Bac Ninh province;
The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province requests the People's Committee of Bac Giang province to pay attention to and consider giving opinions to agree on the addition of the public passenger transport route by inter-provincial bus from Bac Ninh city to Bac Giang city, with specific contents as follows:
1. Route name: Bac Ninh city - Bac Giang city.
2. Starting point of the route: Kinh Bac Cultural Center (Vu Ninh ward, Bac Ninh city).
3. Ending point of the route: Hoang Van Thu Park (Hoang Van Thu ward, Bac Giang city).
4. Route: Assign the Bac Ninh Department of Construction to coordinate with the Bac Giang Department of Construction and relevant agencies and units to agree on a report.
5. distance: about: 30 km.
6. Expected traffic: 64 trips/day.
According to the project to develop public passenger transport by bus until 2030, with a vision to 2035, in the period of 2024 - 2030, Bac Ninh will have 13 bus routes.
Of which, there are 6 newly opened routes including Bac Ninh - Noi Bai (Hanoi), Bac Ninh - Yen Phong, Ba Chua Kho temple (Bac Ninh city) - Khai Son Industrial Park (Thuan Thanh), Yen Phong - Thuan Thanh, Yen Phong - Pho Moi (Que Vo), Bac Ninh city.
Running time is from 5:30 am to 7:30 pm, frequency of 15 - 25 minutes/trip during peak hours and 25 - 35 minutes/trip during normal hours.
In the long term, vehicles using diesel fuel will switch to electric, green energy buses.
According to the draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee drafted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the whole country has 52 provinces and cities subject to merger according to new criteria, including Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.
